Anxiety, Stress & Why My Dog Became So Important

For a while, my anxiety and stress were getting harder to manage. I noticed that having my dog around helped me feel calmer, especially on days when everything felt overwhelming. Eventually, I started looking into whether an emotional support animal could be appropriate for my situation. I spoke with My ESA Therapist about an ESA letter and learned that it isn't simply about wanting to keep a pet. A mental health professional needs to determine whether an ESA is appropriate based on the person's circumstances. My dog doesn't make my anxiety disappear, but having that companionship has become an important source of comfort in my everyday life.

I feel you 100%. Having a dog can be so comforting, especially on difficult days when you need companionship.
I can really understand that. Sometimes having a companion who is simply there, without expecting anything from you, can make overwhelming days feel a little easier. Your dog sounds like a really important source of comfort. How has having him around changed your difficult days?
