Shizuka’s Recovery & Healing community offers free, anonymous peer support for trauma recovery, triggers, and hard days — not a substitute for trauma therapy.
5 min readPeer education, not medical advice
Triggers can arrive on ordinary Tuesdays. Sleep can break. Trust can feel expensive. If you’re looking for PTSD peer support online, you may want people who won’t demand the whole story before they offer kindness.
Recovery & Healing on Shizuka is a free space for setbacks, progress, and the messy middle of getting better. It’s part of our mental health forum — anonymous, moderated, open to read.
You choose how much to share. Graphic detail isn’t required to belong.
Peers can witness and encourage. Trauma-focused therapy is different work. Many people use both. If flashbacks, dissociation, or safety feel unmanageable, reach for professional or crisis support first.
Healing doesn’t have to be linear for you to deserve a soft place to land.
