Why do I feel so alone at night when everyone else seems fine

Daytime I can distract myself. The second it gets quiet — especially after midnight — the loneliness hits hard. I scroll through contacts and feel like there's nobody I can message without bothering them. I know people say they're always there but I never believe it at 2am. Does anyone else feel alone at night even when your life looks okay from the outside?
