Grief support when friends say you should be over it by now

It's been eight months since my dad died and people have moved on. They change the subject when I mention him. I looked for a grief support group online because I need to talk to someone who understands that grief doesn't have a deadline. Has anyone found real grief support when the people around you mean well but don't get it?
